Well….thats a wrap for the 3rd annual Blooming Spring Art Show & Sale. It was a very successful event with lots of great artists and people from Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, Prince George, Seattle, New Orleans and California to name just a few plus all the great people of Victoria. A special thanks to Shannon from Carr House who acted as our hostess. Thank you for all your help.

Day one of the Art show and sale at Carr House is done. What a beautiful sunny day with so many wonderful people dropping by. Visitors from Montreal, Saskatchewan, Alberta and Vancouver to count a few enjoying the sun and historic Carr House. We’re back at in tomorrow, Sunday morning at 10AM until 3. Drop by for some coffee, tea and goodies.

I just put the finishing touches on this large 16” x 20” mixed media project. It features stones from the Sooke River and seaglass from beaches around Vancouver Island. It will be my featured piece for the ‘Blooming Spring Sale and Art Show’ this weekend, April 26 & 27 at Carr House, 207 Government Street, Victoria. I created this piece to celebrate Emily Carr, the renowned artist who was born in this very home on Government Street. I look forward to seeing you all there.
